Required Qualifications
• Associate degree or higher
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) certification/license in New Jersey (NJ)
• Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification/license
• 1+ years of experience with Wound Care or Burn Unit/Wound Clinic
• Have you applied at VNA Health Group in the last 6 months?
• 1+ years of experience with Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) and Home Health
• Have you ever been previously employed at VNA Health Group?
• Have you spoken to a Relode recruiter by phone call regarding this role?
• Are you looking for a full-time position?

Preferred Qualifications
• 1+ years of experience with On-call Nursing
• RN License Number
• Are you bilingual in Spanish?

Overview
Our client is seeking a full-time On-Call Home Health RN in Union County, NJ. The ideal candidate will provide skilled nursing care, demonstrate effective communication and collaboration, and maintain patient safety. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. The candidate should have experience in home health care. This position will service the following coverage areas; Union County, NJ

Key Responsibilities
● Provide direct or indirect skilled comprehensive nursing care to a specified (or variety) of age and diagnostic groups
● Utilize principles of the nursing process to assist in data collection, planning, and evaluation of nursing care
● Demonstrate nursing knowledge and skills in the implementation of prevention, therapeutic, and rehabilitative nursing care
● Utilize effective interviewing techniques; sets limits, and collects data based on specific role
● Communicate and collaborate effectively with health care providers, third parties, patients, and families based on specific role
● Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patients
● Observe patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notify supervisor or Physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents
● Respond to life-saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
● Use oral and written communications to convey pertinent information to members of the healthcare team in a timely manner

Schedule and Shift Details
● 1 week on, 1 week off - 4:30p-8:30a
● Including working one summer and one winter holiday

● EMR: Home Care Home Base
● Equipment Provided: Tablet, Phone
