Position Description

Job Title: RN - Med/Surg - Correctional Health

Location: East Elmhurst, NY

Shift: 8am-8:30pm 3x12 every other weekend required

Start Date: 06/16/2025

Duration: 13 Weeks

Weekly Pay: $2,412

Requirements:

  • Two years of Medical/Surgical experience IV Insertion and phlebotomy conscious sedation.
  • New York State RN License.
  • AHA BLS, AHA ACLS

Job Duties:

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor for changes in condition.
  • Administer medications (oral, IV, IM) and monitor for effects and side effects.
  • Provide wound care and manage post-operative recovery.
  • Assist with chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, asthma).
  • Triage patients and respond to medical emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations.
