Registered Nurse (RN) - Methadone Clinic New

A community-based behavioral health provider is seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join their Clinical Services team, supporting a new Outpatient Recovery Program focused on opioid addiction treatment. This position plays a key role in delivering compassionate care and managing medication-assisted treatment within a methadone clinic setting.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday

• Hours: 5:30am to 2:00pm

• Setting: Outpatient Recovery Clinic

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs, performing physical health assessments, and administering medications (including methadone, Sublocade, Vivitrol, and IM injections)
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary treatment team including a supervising RN and physician
• Conduct individual counseling and health education to support recovery and overall wellness
• Ensure compliance with all medical protocols and treatment standards in accordance with regulatory guidelines
• Accurately document all patient interactions and services in DocuMed (training provided)
• Attend team meetings and participate in care planning discussions
• Maintain a clean, safe, and recovery-focused environment within the clinic
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Current NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Solid assessment and documentation skills
• Proficient in verbal and written communication
• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset

Desired Skills:

• 1+ year of experience in a Clinical, Rehabilitation, or Substance Use Treatment
