Clinical Nurse Manager - RN – Progressive Care Unit - Full Time Rotating

Our recently opened Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 14 bed unit delivering exceptional intermediate care to vented patients. Clinical Nurse Managers coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure the delivery of high-quality, family-centered services to our patients. Assist with unit administration, including the management of staffing needs. Counsel staff RN's on a regular basis, providing clinical education and conducting follow-up procedures as necessary. Foster collaboration and independent thinking. Lead and round with the staff. Mentor, coach, and implement performance and quality improvement.

This is a Full Time Rotating Shift, 2PM - 12AM, 4 days weekly (Weekdays only; Weekends as needed) position at NewYork-Presbyterian Queens located at 56-45 Main St, Queens, NY 11355.

Preferred Criteria

  • Master's degree
  • Tracheostomy and Vent experience preferred
  • Experience with isolation precautions

Required Criteria

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Current New York State registration to practice nursing
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Demonstrated leadership competencies
  • Previous clinical expertise within Med Surg

Please note that all roles require on-site presence (variable by role). Therefore, all employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.

Salary Range

$130,000-$155,000/Annual
